1051984 - Geomatics |
To provide students with the skill necessary to read, interpret, and cartographically represent the territory and to know in depth remote sensing instrumentation and key informatics technologies useful to the analysis, management and valorization of the territory. Particular reference will be made to both the integration of geotopographic data with observations from space, and the interpretation of satellite data and satellite images through the function, utilization, limitation and application potenzial of a GIS (Geographic Information System). To consolidate learning with ground measurements and data processing to be carried out at ESA/ESRIN in Frascati.
