Memory and Learning: The role of experience and continuing education.
Emotions and Motivation:
Theories of Emotions: Recognizing and managing one's own emotions and those of others (patients and colleagues).
Motivation at Work: Factors that influence commitment and job satisfaction.
2. Psychology of Communication and Helping Relationships
Effective Communication in Healthcare:
Elements of Communication: Verbal, nonverbal, and paraverbal. The importance of body language in patient-TSRM interaction.
Active Listening and Empathy: Developing the ability to understand the patient's state of mind (anxiety, fear, pain).
