Project Management in Building Construction

The course addresses the topics of building environmental certification with a technical and practical approach, exploring both the regulatory and applied aspects, with the aim of providing guidelines for building design within the current legislative framework. In particular, the course aims to provide a foundational understanding of the following key areas: principles of bioclimatic architecture; regulatory and legislative framework (DNSH/CAM requirements); building energy and environmental certification systems (LEED, ITACA Protocol, WELL Protocol, ARCA Protocol, etc.); life cycle assessment (LCA) and ecological quality labels (Ecolabel, EPD); modeling and analysis of the urban microclimate using dedicated software.
