Free surface flows. Gradually-varied flows. Specific energy, critical conditions. Passage through the piers of a bridge. Passage above a threshold. Culverts. Venturi channel Urban drainage systems. Wastewater and rainwater flows. Separate systems and combined systems. Ordinary and special manholes: retention and detention basins, first flood flows, combined sewer overflows, drainage pumping systems. Sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS): rainwater separation, infiltration systems, flow lamination. Pre-sizing and verification of drainage pipes. Hydraulic simulation of drainage networks using Epa-SWMM software. Evolutionary dynamics of natural watercourses. Solid transport. Shields theory. Solid flow: Du Boys type formulas.
