Course program
During the lessons, the main contemporary theories on risk and insecurity will be introduced. The main characteristics of the "society of uncertainty" will be analyzed and the emblematic figures that populate it, such as that of the foreigner, will be examined. The main approaches and data sources available on social exclusion will then be examined, as well as the national and supranational framework of policies aimed at promoting social inclusion. More specifically, issues such as work as a source of exclusion; poverty; prisons; inequalities in the world of education will be addressed.

Knowledge of the main classical sociological theories.
