Prerequisites
The internship is the practical phase of individual training, aimed at introducing the candidate to the working world and acquiring the practical skills of a specific activity.
A solid foundation in various disciplines, particularly Nursing, is essential, as the internship represents an advanced and progressive level of training over three years, encompassing and certifying theoretical and experiential learning in a practical and concrete manner. Passing the Internship II Exam is a prerequisite for taking the Internship III Exam. To take the exam, you must complete 750 hours of internship. Failure to pass the exam will result in the inability to take the degree exam for obtaining the Academic License to practice the profession.

Exam mode
A 60-question written questionnaire, with either closed or open-ended answers, assesses general cognitive competence based on the learning content. This is followed by a further written exam in which the student is presented with a clinical case for which they will develop a care plan, assessing the individual as a whole, according to the Carpenito Nursing Diagnostic Model and the NANDA taxonomy. A nursing procedure must be described in detail and explicitly explained in writing. The exam concludes with an in-depth oral discussion/exam, which also takes into account assessments received by the candidate during the clinical internship. Typically, a full day (morning and afternoon) is devoted to this exam.
