Attività di ricerca
I suoi principali interessi di ricerca sono rivolti allo studio delle proprietà chimico-fisiche di ibridi a base peptidica con proprietà di associazione spontanea (coniugati peptide-polimero, lipopeptidi, derivati sale biliare-peptide, peptide-carbon dots) per applicazioni in nanomedicina. Di recente è coinvolta in un progetto incentrato sui coniugati a base peptidica con attività antimicrobica. Ha partecipato al progetto di Ricerca di Ateneo (Sapienza) “Bile acids-based macromolecular antimicrobials for biomedical applications”, 2022, Progetto PRIN 2022 Finanziato dall’Unione europea – Next generation EU 2022HSFEPY - Biomimetic antimicrobial vesicle-like nanoarchitectures for multi- drug-resistant bacteria-BELIEVE e a Rome Technopole, Flagship 7 " Advanced and automated innovation labs for diagnostic and therapeutic biopharma solutions", 2023.
