> 16/06 EXAM: RESULTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE on the e-learning page of the course. Students who have successfully passed the test can register their final exam grade next Friday 20/06 between 2 PM and 3 PM (room 444). For grade registration, students must bring their exam reservation paper (ricevuta di prenotazione) and a valid, original identification document. Students who have not passed the exam can review their paper next Friday 20/06 between 1 PM and 2 PM (room 444); the appointment must be confirmed via email (remo.appolloni@uniroma1.it). An online webinar for correcting tests JN1625A and JN1625B is going to be held on Monday 23/06 (between 11 AM and 1 PM) at the Zoom link available on e-learning "Webinar - Test correction" (registration is required).
> 07/07 EXAM: Students will be assigned to groups for the test. The exam schedule and info will be available via e-learning (see section "Exam Info").

> 24/06 EXAM: For admission to the final exam, students must present the following: A valid, original identification document: Acceptable forms include an ID, passport or driving licence. Digital forms of identification are not permitted; their official exam reservation paper (ricevuta di prenotazione).
> 28/05 PROGRESS TEST: Students who have successfully passed the mock test (28th May 2025) can register their final exam grade before the exam (24/06 h 11:00 - 12:00. For grade registration, students must bring their exam reservation paper (ricevuta di prenotazione) and a valid, original identification document.
Exam general info
Students are requested to consult the e-learning pages of their respective courses for exam materials (slides, exercises, mock tests, etc.) and exam information (course syllabus, evaluation criteria, exam instructions and groups schedule).

Curriculum
Remo Appolloni holds a double PhD in English Literature, Language, and Translation from Sapienza University of Rome and in Linguistics from the University of Silesia in Katowice. His research focuses on historical corpus linguistics, applying statistical methods to examine the standardisation of morphological and lexical features in Early Modern English economic discourse.
He has received advanced training in corpus linguistics and quantitative research methods at Lancaster University and the University of Birmingham. He has taught English for academic and professional purposes as an adjunct lecturer in undergraduate programmes at Sapienza University of Rome and has experience in corporate training in business English.
He is a member of the Italian research network on the history of the English language (SLIN), the Italian Association for English Studies (AIA), and the International Society for Historical Lexicography and Lexicology (ISHLL).
