Prerequisites
in order to understand the contents of the teaching and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the teaching activities foreseen by the teaching module, the student must have knowledge of the concepts inherent in nursing science. Key concepts for nursing practice include: breathing, elimination, thermoregulation, physical well-being, self-care, skin integrity.

SYNTHETIC PROGRAM OF THE COURSE
• Nursing legislation and responsibilities;
• Biohazard and infection control;
• Satisfaction of food needs, assistance in various types of nutrition and evaluation of the nutritional status;
• Breathing;
• Nursing procedures in venous, capillary, arterial sampling, blood cultures;
• Execution of an ECG, basics of reading an arrhythmia, preparation for cardiovascular diagnostic tests;
• Drug administration.
Prerequisites
The student must have acquired basic knowledge of the nursing profession covered in the General and Clinical Nursing Module I

Teaching mode
The course will mainly take place through lectures.
To achieve the training objectives specified above and to contribute to the development of critical skills in learning, moments dedicated to practices and/or work group will also be provided.
Frequency
To take the exam, the course attendance is compulsory.
Exam mode
Passing the exam is subject to passing an oral and/or write test that will focus on the topics covered in the classroom during class hours.
During the lessons, however, an ongoing test will be carried out to assess the actual learning of the learners, which however will not affect the final grade.
Lesson mode
