Course objectives

At the end of the course the student must be able to consult databases, carry out bibliographic research essential for the preparation of the final thesis. At the end of the course the student must know how to perform Basic Life Support Defibrillation maneuvers, or first aid maneuvers with the use of a defibrillator. at the end of the course the student must know how to perform oral hygiene maneuvers on special need patients.

Course program
Professional theoretical-practical in-depth workshops.
Prerequisites
In order to understand the contents of the teaching and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the teaching activities foreseen by the teaching module the student must possess the basic knowledge relating to professional and home oral hygiene techniques.
Frequency
As reported in the art. 6 of the Educational Regulations for degree courses in the health professions, "Laboratory activity constitutes an integral part of the training curriculum and attendance is 100% compulsory."
Exam mode
The evaluation consists of a suitability to be obtained following the evaluation of written and/or oral tests and attendance, active participation, reasoning skills and autonomous study.
Lesson mode
The teacher provides frontal teaching in a traditional manner, with audiovisual aids and with scheduling of activities.
