Course program
Diagnostic RadiologyThrough the internship experience, the student must acquire the skills due to carry out the following business activities:Knowing the department location;Receive, identify, collect any documentation past, prepare patients for procedures;Check the equipment work;Select and adopt appropriate behaviors than the individual patient;Adopt methods in every situation to ensure the maximum radiation protection;Observe the ethics code in every situation;Organize your work and participate in the organization of the department / service;Define the elements of the relationship between user and professional technologists.Identify the critical elements in the diagnostic / treatment related to the privacy protection.Use appropriate devices and measures to prevent infection.Locate the main protective equipment devices complying with ionizing radiation to the proper use.Acquiring competence in the use of traditional radiology equipment (X-ray tube, ortoclinoscopici tables, tube wall, using analog and digital tapes, printing systems and developing analog and digital, etc.).Learning to interact with the patient positioning it correctly according to the projections to be made.Critically analyze the environmental work conditions, in particular how to conduct technical activities at the radiology emergency room.Critical analysis of X-rays, interpret the anatomical structures and describing the technical methodology applied in order to get that image.Health PhysicsManage the daily and weekly quality checks on the equipment provided;Personal and environmental dosimetry procedures.

Having passed the course on worker safety law 81/08

Teaching mode
Practical technical internship activity in presence at the various diagnostic rooms identified in line with the training program.
Frequency
Frequency of diagnostic sections in 6-hour shifts per day.
Exam mode
THE VERIFICATION OF LEARNING IS BASED ON THE VERIFICATION OF THE SKILLS ACQUIRED IN LINE WITH THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WITH A PRIMARY WEIGHT COMPARED TO THE SKILLS AND PRACTICAL SKILLS ACQUIRED.
