Course objectives

Complementary courses freely chosen by the student. During the three years of the course, the student selects the in-depth activities most congruent with his / her learning objectives. In particular, the training offers available today are: - The profession of Radiographers in Europe: lights and shadows - Teleradiology and Telemedicine (teleconsultation, second look, electronic digital file); - Scientific English applied to the Radiological field (being able to describe the diagnostic services of one's workplace and being able to communicate with the Patient) - Neuroradiological anatomy (interactive lessons in the Radiological Section) - Surgical breast anatomy (including the description of the functioning of a Breast Unit)

Modules – Year 2 4) Emergency: trauma/stroke/sepsis/STEMI; whole‑body CT; closed‑loop communication. 5) Telemedicine on board: aircraft/ships/trains; PoCUS/tele‑ECG; legal/data quality. 6) Messineo Seminar: synthesis & critical appraisal; implementation. 7) Breast reconstruction: surgical options; pre/post‑op imaging; Eklund; MRI with implants. 8) Contrast media: agent/route; adverse events (allergy, PC‑AKI, NSF); pregnancy/pediatrics; extravasation Modules – Year 3 9) MR Safety: zoning; MR Safe/Conditional; SAR/dB/dt; quench; prevent projectile/RF burns. 10) Artificial Intelligence: datasets/metrics/bias; clinical integration; ethics/legal; human oversight.

Y1 basic anatomy/physiology, intro medical physics, radiation protection • Y2 pathology & time‑critical pathways, Y1 content • Y3 prior content, basics of EBM/research.

Exam mode
Short quizzes (≥60%), practical OSPE (positioning, MR safety, contrast management), portfolio/logbook. integrated OSPE + oral exam + portfolio review → Pass only if all components are achieved (≥60% or satisfactory).
