Course program
ADE is an in-depth program of the student's choosing, structured around seminars/workshops to explore topics not included in the required courses, and to pursue specific interests, both in core subjects and in orthopedic innovations; elective internships in clinics and research laboratories; practical activities in orthosis construction/adaptation; participation in conferences; Interdisciplinary projects on technologies applied to orthopedics
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and principles of orthoses/prostheses construction. Ability to read scientific texts and understand clinical protocols
Books
Scientific articles recommended by the instructor related to the topics of the proposed activities.
Frequency
Attendance is mandatory. Attendance is recorded via signatures or electronic systems.
Exam mode
Assessment through practical tests and/or discussion of papers/reports. "Pass/Fail" grading, consistent with attendance and achievement of training objectives.
Lesson mode
Activities organized into seminars, interactive lectures in small groups, practical exercises, laboratories, and clinical internships. Active teaching methodology to encourage practical application of knowledge
