Fundamentals of collective prevention and public health. Regulatory and organizational evolution of prevention in Italy. The National Prevention Plan (PNP): structure, guidance, and tools. Essential Levels of Care (LEA) – prevention area. Regional and local prevention planning. EU and WHO policies for health promotion and prevention. Operational tools for context analysis and territorial planning. Indicators, monitoring, and evaluation of prevention programs.

Basic knowledge of hygiene, public health, and health service organization. Ability to read technical and regulatory documents.

Written exam, consisting of. Multiple-choice and open-ended questions, aimed at verifying understanding of key concepts in prevention planning, health policy, and regulatory frameworks (PNP, LEA, regional planning); Practical exercises, related to the analysis of planning documents and the design of prevention interventions in territorial, environmental, and occupational settings.

Lectures, analysis of strategic documents (PNP, LEA, regional plans), case-based exercises, and prevention planning simulations.
