Basic knowledge of individual productivity software and the MS Windows operating system is useful.

Teaching mode
Traditional frontal teaching at the premises identified by the University.
The course lasts 24 hours divided into six 4-hour lessons. During the lectures, the presentation of the expected topics is expected, accompanied by interactions with the students and practical exercises. The first three lessons will be organized for topics related to spreadsheet and descriptive statistics. The following lessons to the treatment of the main health information systems and databases.
Exam mode
The written test will take place face to face and includes multiple choice questions on topics of the course. Optionally and for special cases, the written test could be supplemented by an interview.
The objective of the test is to verify that the student has acquired the tools for using the spreadsheet with particular references to descriptive statistics as well as knowing how to design and implement simple databases with reference to the conceptual logic of health information systems.
The weight of the test is one quarter of the final evaluation of the Research Methodology exam.
