Course contents
• Some theoretical and methodological aspects will be illustrated, emphasizing the interest in the social groups that represent potential users of the services in which the nursing students will operate: students, the elderly, the mentally ill, prisoners, immigrants...
• The transformations of the image of the nurse over time will also be introduced, leaving room for the new professional opportunities offered in contemporary society.
• Finally, the importance of teamwork and synergy with the institutional and informal networks characterizing the communities will be emphasized.

Exam mode
At the end of the course, the student must be able to demonstrate that he/she has acquired basic knowledge of the theoretical and methodological references of social psychology, for the reading of contexts, social groups and networks that characterize them.

Teaching methods
In addition to lectures, students will have the opportunity to learn through “learning by doing”, that is, through individual guided exercises and simulations, as well as work groups for the creation of papers.
