FOREIGN LANGUAGES SKILLS
Course objectives
Students with a basic knowledge of general English, acquire essential nursing vocabulary and skills, improve their ability in reading, writing, listening and speaking vocational English. This course has a specific focus on elementary language structures, basic nursing vocabulary and pronunciation (British and American English spelling). Students concentrate on examining fundamental nursing topics and practising everyday nursing speech in an interactive classroom setting. At the end of the course students are expected to achieve CEF level A1 - A2.
