Course program
The Final Examination consists of the public defense of an original written thesis, either theoretical, experimental, or review-based, concerning a topic relevant to physiotherapy or rehabilitation.
The thesis topic may originate from internship experiences, clinical case studies, literature reviews, or research activities.
The defense takes place in a public session before the Degree Committee.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of all required examinations and internship activities.
Books
Not applicable. References are defined in agreement with the thesis supervisor according to the chosen topic.
Frequency
Individual research activity, tutoring, thesis writing, and final presentation agreed with the teacher.
Exam mode
The final evaluation is based on:
• the scientific and methodological quality of the written thesis;
• the clarity and coherence of the oral presentation;
• the overall academic record and weighted average of exams;
• the autonomy and critical skills demonstrated during the thesis work.
The final grade is expressed on a 110-point scale, with possible honours (cum laude).
Lesson mode
Research activity and thesis writing under the supervision of a faculty advisor; individual tutoring; possible collaboration with internship facilities or research institutions.
