Course program
The course aims to provide the main notions on the generality of rheumatic diseases, provide information on the distinction between degenerative and inflammatory diseases. The pathologies treated are rheumatoid arthritis, chronic arthritis of childhood, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis. The student must know in general the definition, the complications and above all the physiotherapy treatment to be adopted by knowing how to differentiate the acute phases of the disease from the chronic phases.

Know the basics of joint anatomy and physiology

the teaching material consists of slides projected in class that will be delivered at the end of the course to students who can integrate the study using the text Unireuma - Rheumatology for health professions Authors Spadaro, Govoni, Caporali Editore Idelson Gnocchi 2009.
