Course objectives

The course aims to address issues related to the quality of life in relation to oral health and primary and secondary prevention of the main diseases of the oral cavity. The various preventive strategies and the oral hygiene sciences and techniques applied to the community and to the territory according to the OM.M.S. At the end of the course the student must show the mastery of the knowledge related to the Oral Hygiene as a service for the community and in the social sphere. The student must have acquired skills, tools and a conscious autonomy of judgment in relation to the social role of Oral Hygiene and in relation to the field of use of techniques and tools illustrated during the course. The student must be able to identify the functional correlations between multiple therapies and therapeutic tools, to extract and summarize the relevant information related to the instrument or technique under examination.
