Course program
Improvement of technical and applicative knowledge of the main diagnostic imaging modalities.
Prerequisites
In order to understand the content of the course and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the teaching activities envisaged in the teaching module, the student must possess basic knowledge of radiation physics, human anatomy, biology, and computer science.
Books
The teaching materials used by the instructors will be provided. These materials serve as support and guidance for studying and preparing for the exam. Frequency
Mandatory attendance to obtain the relevant training credits.
Exam mode
To pass the exam, students must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the physics of ionizing radiation, basic knowledge of biology, anatomy, and computer science, and the ability to describe in detail the various radiological modalities, procedures, and techniques, along with the respective roles of radiographers. To sit for the exam, students must first have completed the required number of hours of practical training as required by the academic program. The final exam will be oral and will include assessments for all modules, which will contribute equally to the final grade.
Lesson mode
The instructor delivers traditional classroom teaching, using audiovisual aids and scheduling as reported in the GOMP Classroom/Timetable System and published on the Degree Course website.
