Course program
In this section of the course, students strengthen their skills in the selection process of scientific evidence and the construction of a coherent and accurate bibliography. Through theoretical sessions and practical exercises, they learn to identify inclusion and exclusion criteria, select relevant articles based on the research question, and analyze the bibliographic record structure (authors, title, journal, year, DOI, abstract, keywords). Students are also trained to recognize and apply the main international referencing styles (APA, Vancouver, Harvard) and evaluate the consistency of citations within a scientific text. By the end of this phase, students will be able to systematically organize sources according to standards of accuracy, transparency, and reproducibility — essential prerequisites for the subsequent critical appraisal phase.
