| AAF1404 | PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS [N/D] [ITA] | 3rd | 2nd | 3 |
Educational objectives The professional laboratories for medical radiology technicians (TSRMs - Technician Sanitari di Radiologia Medica) are highly specialized environments designed for the practical training and continuing education of professionals in the field of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy. These labs combine advanced technology, radiological safety, and clinical simulation to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
|
| AAF1405 | WORKSHOP [N/D] [ITA] | 3rd | 2nd | 6 |
Educational objectives Seminar activities for medical radiology technicians (TSRMs) are educational meetings, often short and intensive, dedicated to the in-depth study of specific, topical or multidisciplinary issues in medical imaging, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. They may be aimed at undergraduate students or professionals in continuing education (CME).
|
| AAF1003 | FINAL EXAM [N/D] [ITA] | 3rd | 2nd | 5 |
Educational objectives The purpose of the thesis is to engage the student in a formalization work,
design and research, which will contribute substantially
to the completion of his or her professional and scientific training.
The content of the thesis must be related to topics or disciplines
closely related to the professional profile.

Educational objectives NUCLEAR MEDICINE
Upon completion of the educational experience in Nuclear Medicine, students will be
Able to:
- Describe the acquisition protocols of the following scintigraphic investigations:
- myocardial scintigraphy;
- parathyroid scintigraphy;
- perfusory brain scintigraphy;
- brain scintigraphy with receptor tracer (123IDATSCAN);
- adrenal cortical scintigraphy.
- For each of the above investigations, the appropriate
patient positioning, the dose to be administered, and the
criteria for correctness.
- Describe and apply the dose fractionation process of radiotracer
positronic used in PET-CT.
- Describe and apply the acquisition and processing protocols used
in PET-TAC and related correctness criteria;
- Analysis of RIS-PACS Image Transmission Systems employed in the service
Nuclear Medicine.
- Performance of brain and myocardial SPET.
- Searching for infectious processes with labeled granulocytes.
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical labeling.
- Use radiopharmaceuticals other than Technetium, such as Gallium-67, Iodine-123,
Iodine-131, F-18.
- Control personal and environmental contamination.
- Interact with other staff involved in the diagnostic process, with mentors,
with internship supervisors with respect for organizational hierarchy
and with a view to teamwork.

| AAF1433 | ADE [N/D] [ITA] | 3rd | 2nd | 6 |
Educational objectives ADEs, or Elective Educational Activities, for medical radiology technicians (TSRMs) are optional educational modules included within the undergraduate curriculum (typically in three-year degree programs in Medical Radiology Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques). These activities allow students to explore specific topics in more depth, broaden their skills, and tailor their training to their professional interests.
