EMOTIONS AND MOTIVATIONS: Gratification with particular reference to eating behavior. The reward mechanism. Social aspects of eating behavior.
STRESS and its psychological and physiological effects on the individual.
REPRESENTATION OF THE BODY: Alterations of the representation of the body in eating disorders and other neurological diseases.
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION: Language acquisition and development. Speech disorders. Verbal and non-verbal communication in healthcare settings

Exam mode
To pass the examination, a mark of not less than 18/30 in each module is required. The student must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the topics covered in the course. In order to obtain a mark of 30/30 with distinction, the student must demonstrate excellent knowledge of all the topics covered in the course, arguing a linear argument using technical terms and correct linguistic expressions.
Lesson mode
Teaching covers the topics of the course, the lecturer uses power point slides, and the slides are uploaded to the classroom and made available to the student. In addition, each year there are practical tests in the coursework to support the lectures on the topics covered during the course.
