Environmental policy: world conferences; The green market (GPP: main sectors of use) The EU framework programs The BES (fair and sustainable budget) Goal of Sustainability The main environmental effects on: The Atmosphere: its characteristics; main atmospheric effects. The Soil: its characteristics; Forests, waste and sustainable management; the water resource: needs, consumption, water policy, physical agents: electromagnetic pollution, noise pollution, indoor pollution, light pollution Environmental management systems: Why introduce an environmental management system. The reference standards, improvement objectives; the UNI EN ISO 14000 standards (from the first issue in 1996… ..); the EMAS regulation (from the first issue in 1993… ..). the Ecolabel mark Certification path. Production sectors (3 CFU): Study of the environmental pressures exerted by anthropogenic activities in the main production sectors through the use of models and indicators. The primary sector: agriculture and forestry; the secondary sector: energy production, industry; the tertiary sector: transport and tourism.

Exam mode
The exam aims to verify the possession of the theoretical knowledge transmitted during the course, the student's analysis and argumentative skills. The exam can be in oral or written form, it will be communicated to the students first In particular, if the test will be oral: 3 questions of a more relevant and general nature and further information on the various topics tending to highlight the student's knowledge of the subject; from a more general to a specific character for a fair assessment of the test. The student must demonstrate his / her knowledge and knowledge of the problem solving skills. The written exam will consist of 30 multiple choice questions.
