Basic knowledge of topics in microeconomics and macroeconomics is required.

Lecture attendance is not mandatory.
Exam mode
The final assessment is based on a written exam. The exam is aimed at evaluating the learning and processing ability of the topics covered during the course. It will be conducted on the basis of the following criteria: general knowledge, clarity of presentation, adequate property of language, effective presentation supported by valid arguments, ability to summarize.
To pass the exam, students are required to achieve a mark of 18/30. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered and that s/he is able to explain them with language properties and the ability to make connections across topics. For the maximum mark, the student must demonstrate that s/he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent manner.
Lesson mode
The teaching methodology is based on in-class lectures. The course benefits from digital resources: in particular, an e-learning platform is used for the distribution of teaching materials and communications with students.
