Frequency
Active participation in the course is mandatory to ensure timely coverage of content and lab activities facilitated by the professor.
Exam mode
Evaluation is based on:
• evaluation of students' outcomes in group-based design laboratory
• oral examination covering the course contents and a critical discussion of the project work completed
Lesson mode
The course emphasizes both the development of theoretical knowledge and the practical application of concepts through dedicated tools.
Each module is approached from two perspectives:
• Theoretical/Methodological (Theory)
• Practical/Application (Laboratory)
The laboratory is conducted in groups of 3-4 students, working on a real case studies provided by the professor.
It is structured in modules. For each modules a dedicated project output is required:
1. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
2. Project Quantitative Cost Estimation (CME)
3. Construction time estimation
4. Operational site planning and design
5. Production analysis for not standard works
6. Safety cost estimation
7. Resource estimation and project load histogram implementation
8. Balanced and optimized bar chart schedule (Gantt)
