ENERGY SYSTEMS

Course objectives

The course aims at providing an exhaustive scientific framework of the energy sources of every type, with a specific analysis of the energy systems (plants) and their parts (machines) proper use their exploitation. The above mentioned amalysis are concerning of the national integrated system in generating electric power and thermal needs, regarding also the limits for development and the environmental impact. 1. Specific kwoledge in the field of fossil and renewables energy sources, their availability and capabilities in exploitation; 2. description and analysis of energy systems and plants with the study of components and machine; 3. analysis of turbomachinery; 4. Specific aspects of energy siystems project area analysed and exerciutation are carried out about energy plants and about their project; 5. Some aspects of energy sources exploitation area analysed regarding the limits to developmente and the environmental impact concerning of their exploitation.
