Roma Drone Conference 2025 – opportunity to earn 1 ECTS for AAF

Roma Drone Conference 2025 is the eleventh edition of the leading professional event in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Innovative Air Mobility (IAM). It will take place
on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Fiera di Roma
(Conference Center, Hall 10) at the same time as Welfair 2025, an important trade fair on innovation and technology in the healthcare sector, scheduled from November 4 to 7, 2025, also at the Fiera di Roma (Hall 9).

· The program will be divided into two sessions.
In the morning (approximately 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), there will be a conference entitled “Italy's drones in 2025: assessment and prospects for the UAS and IAM market,” which will take stock of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) sector in Italy. A discussion is planned between ENAC, ANSV, D-Flight (ENAV group), companies, professionals, and operators. In addition, the fourth edition of PwC Strategy& Italia's research on the UAS/IAM market will be previewed.
The afternoon session (approximately 2:30-5:00 p.m.) will feature a conference on “Life-saving drones: rescue missions and biomedical transport,” which will illustrate the various experiments and initial operational activities for the use of drones and eVTOLs for medical transport.
· Students enrolled in Sapienza's Aerospace Engineering courses can participate in the event free of charge. The Aerospace CAD grants students enrolled in its courses 1 ECTS credit for Other Educational Activities useful for entering the world of work, where applicable in their educational path. The credit will only be awarded by the CAD to students who have not already taken advantage of it in the previous editions of 2023 and 2024. Interested students can register as Sapienza students at the event by showing their Sapienza enrollment card at the entrance and signing the attendance sheet both at the entrance and exit of the event for the purpose of recognizing the educational credit. All registrants will receive a reply email with instructions for participation.
All students will be sent a Certificate of Participation.
Starting November 1, it will be possible to submit your training program.
In view of this event, on Friday, October 31, 2025, in CLASSROOM 40 of the ICI faculty (and simultaneously remotely), orientation meetings will be held for the completion of training programs according to the following schedule
· 2:00-3:00 p.m. MAER orientation (orientation for the study program curricula)
· 3:00-4:30 p.m. BAER orientation (orientation for third-year elective exams and laboratories)
· 4:30-5:30 p.m. MSAR orientation (orientation for the study program curricula)

English lessons “for knowledge of at least one foreign language” by professor Iren Boyarkina
will be held every Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in classroom 22 at Via Eudossiana, 18.
