Educational objectives

The course aims to provide students with an experimental methodological basis to support the basic knowledge of the laws of classical mechanics developed during Physics I. From the synergy of the two courses, which are held at the same time, we intend to develop, beyond the skill to solve simple physics problems, the ability to perform and analyze experiments, providing the students with the methodology necessary for the analysis and processing of experimental data.

Educational objectives

The aim of the laboratory is to introduce the student to issues relating to health and safety in the workplace, both from a regulatory point of view and from an application point of view in the engineering field. The laboratory also intends to contribute so that the student is able to identify adequate technical, organizational and procedural security solutions for the types of risk dealt with, addressing issues that in the workplace constitute a legal obligation.

Educational objectives

students will become able to produce a
geological map on the 1:10.000 scale, complete with geological cross-sections,
legend, and explanatory notes, in a geologically complex mountain-chain area.
