Calendars – Extraordinary Exam Session II – Academic Year 2024‑25
For all students enrolled in the 2024‑25 academic year who meet the requirements set out in the regulations, the official exam dates are now available.
View the full calendar here:
Calendario appelli straordinari ed esoneri – Autunno 2025
Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, the new regulations will come into force for the degree course in Computer Science.
Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, there will be a gradual transition to the new regulations. Specifically, this academic year will be the first year of the new regulations, while the second and third years will be taught in accordance with the previous regulations.
For those who enrolled before the 2025/2026 academic year, there will be exam sessions for first-year courses that change under the new regulations, according to the programmes scheduled for their year of enrolment.
The procedures for the transition from the old to the new regulations are currently being finalised and will be published as soon as they are completed.
You can request a channel change only for the first semester of the first and second years, starting from the timetable publication and up to 10 working days (2 weeks) after the start of classes.
The request must be sent by email to segr.didattica@di.uniroma1.it (only from the @studenti.uniroma1.it address) with the following information:
Subject: Channel Change Request
- Email Text:
- Name and Surname
- Year of Enrollment
- Academic Year
- Reason for Request
- From Channel – to Channel
Important
Only requests with justified personal or logistical needs will be considered. Requests without adequate justification will not be considered.
The class schedule does not constitute a valid reason for a request, as the timetable has been organized specifically to avoid overlaps or disruptions between channels.
Every request must clearly and honestly state the reason for the request, to allow for proper evaluation.
Affinity or personal preference for a professor is not considered a valid reason: in a university setting, as in a professional setting, it is not possible to choose who you interact with, as can happen in a private setting.
The change will be effective only after confirmation from the Educational Office.
In the academic year 2025/2026, the courses Digital System Design and Computer Architecture will no longer be offered, as a new curriculum will come into effect and these courses will be replaced by new ones in the second year.
Therefore, students who have not yet passed the Digital System Design or Computer Architecture exam are encouraged to organize their study plan in order to attend the exam sessions for the academic year 2024/2025 (all sessions until November 2025 for Digital System Design and all sessions until April 2026 for Computer Architecture).
Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, although it will still be possible to take each of the two exams from the old curriculum, the instructors and exam procedures may change.
Further to the notice of July 24, 2025 (above) regarding the exams for Digital Systems Design and Computer Architecture, please be informed that the extraordinary exam sessions in November 2025 for both courses will be open to all students who wish to take part.
