Course program
Definition of Business Statistics. Data issues in Business Statistics: the nature of micro economic data. Regression analysis of Cross-Sectional data. Multiple regression analysis.Multiple regression with logarithmic functional form and with quadratic form. Multiple regression with qualitative information: binary variables and interactions. Estimation of logistic regression with multiple predictors and interactions. Diagnostic with ``binned” residuals. Graphical representation. Generalized linear models: Poisson, logistic-binomial, probit, multinomial. Estimation, diagnostic and graphical representation. Hierarchical models: varying-slopes linear model.
