The Statistics for Management degree program provides students with a solid foundation in the disciplines that define the science of data management: statistics, probability, mathematics, and computer science. Among these disciplines, statistics plays a central role. Building on this foundation, students acquire additional skills and tools in theoretical and applied statistics, economic-quantitative statistics, and optimization. These skills enable students to pursue two main professional roles: data analysts and optimization analysts. These professionals are experienced in the broad process of data management, including collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation at different levels of complexity and in multiple application areas
