Final exam

Course objectives

The final exam will consist of a dissertation, autonomously written by the student in Italian or in English and provided with an abstract in the other language, which will be discussed in front of a committee. The final exam provides 9 credits. The dissertation will be the summary of a bibliographical research or a report on experimental activities carried out by the student in the lab or on the field under the guidance of a teacher of the teaching course. The final vote is based on the valuation of the curriculum studiorum, of the dissertation and of the final exam, as well as on other factors intended to stimulate the successful completion of the examinations in accordance with the schedules prescribed by the educational set of rules. Possible educational stages in Italy or abroad, included the participation in the Erasmus project, can be evaluated by the committee, as far as well documented, for the honor or for a rounding of the final vote. The students are required to provide the relating documentation to the Student Affairs’ Office together with the final dissertation. The Degree Committee Members Board gives the valuation up to 110 points and it can, unanimously, assign to the candidate full marks and honor.
