Sustainable tourism science

The course is aimed at 1st year students, and it is supported by the Practice of Modern Greek 1 class and is divided in two parts: PART I: the course will examine basic concepts and theoretical aspects related to the Modern Greek language from a morphological, syntactic and semantic point of view. In addition, various types of exercises related to the topics covered will be performed in class, and additional homework will be given. PART II: it will be dedicated to the History of the Greek language from the Indo-European period to the present day.

Nationalities: Nouns in nominative, singular number: masculine (-ας, -ης, -ος), feminine (-α, -η), neutral (-ο, -ι) 5. The family: Possessive pronoun; cardinal numbers (11-100) 6. Class attendance for the first part is mandatory, while for the second part is highly recommended. Students who are unable to attend the second part, at the beginning of the course, must agree with the instructor on an additional program to equate the necessary hours in order to obtain the course’s credits.

To obtain the credits required for this course, the student must successfully meet the assessment criteria for Part I and Part II. For Part I the student must take and succeed in: a. A mid-term exam at the end of the first semester, which consists of a written exam on the material and the concepts that were examined during the semester. b. A written and oral assessment for the Modern Greek Practice I class, which takes place at the end of the second semester. The student must successfully meet the criteria set for the Level A2 in Modern Greek. For Part II of the course the student: must take an oral exam at the end of the course on the basis of the provided bibliography.
