PORTUGUESE AND BRASILIAN LANGUAGE

Course objectives

To acquire basic knowledge related to the cultural and tourist heritage of Portuguese-speaking countries; to acquire a basic sectoral vocabulary in the field of tourism and to reflect on their correspondence with Italian, in a translation key. Learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge and understanding: the student knows the main elements of the cultural and touristic heritage of the official Portuguese-speaking countries, together with the relevant vocabulary and its translation into Italian; 2. Applied knowledge and understanding: the student is able to apply the acquired knowledge in a comparative way to wider contexts; he/she is able to reflect critically on the linguistic and cultural contexts of reference; 3. Communicative skills: the student is able to use in an appropriate way the specific vocabulary of the discipline, both in Portuguese and in Italian, with particular reference to the tourist field; 5. Ability to learn: the motivated student continues learning autonomously, applying the acquired knowledge and skills to the study of related disciplines.
