16/04/2026 - Primavera Queer 2026- 2 AAF credits

The fourth edition of the Primavera Queer series, promoted as part of the Religions and Gender course and the activities of the Religions and Social Change Laboratory of the Saras Department, coordinated by Marianna Ferrara, begins on May 7th.

Through case studies spanning diverse cultural and religious contexts, the series aims to offer methodological tools for analyzing the configurations of gender, body, and identity in symbolic systems, highlighting the plurality of their historical expressions.

The first meeting, Thursday, May 7th at 12:00 p.m., in the Venturi Hall of the Humanities and Philosophy building, will be led by Małgorzata Sacha (Jagiellonian University, Kraków) on the topic "Imaginary and Real Men: Hindu Masculinity After the Maternal Spell" by Sudhir Kakar.

Cinzia Pieruccini (June 8), Aula Frugoni Petrucci, Vātsyāyana, Women and the "Third Nature": Reflections on the Text of the Kamasūtra
