THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING

Course objectives

The course guides students through an in-depth analysis of the science of representation considering both aspects of the discipline: the practical one, regarding the various possible techniques, and the theoretical one concerning the capacity of the discipline to enhance and expand the mind’s boundaries. Traditional and integrated techniques are applied to fashion and costume design in order to create and structure students’ skills to achieve creative and practical results. The goal is to provide students with several tools to enable them to autonomously find the best way to create, structure, and communicate their personal fashion collection. The course consists of the interaction of parallel theoretical and practical sessions and intersects with different disciplines like fashion, design, and art. Active participation in several training activities is required in order to achieve the course objectives and to enable each student to develope a personal and original graphical production.
