Course program
Human Anatomy (II) - Lymphoid organs: thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, bone marrow. - Respiratory system: external nose, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, larynx, trachea and bronchi. Lungs and pleura. Development of the respiratory system. - Digestive system: oral cavity, salivary glands, pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, duodenum, small, and large intestine. Liver, gallbladder, and biliary tree. Pancreas. Peritoneum and peritoneal cavity. Development of the digestive system. - Urinary system: kidney and ureter. Bladder and urethra. Development of the urinary system. - Reproductive system: a) male: testis and spermatic tracts, seminal vesicles, prostate, bulbourethral glands. b) female: ovary, uterine tubes, uterus, vagina, external genitalia, perineum. Development of the male and female genital systems.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the main cytologic and histologic characteristics of the human body; knowledge of human embryology; knowledge of the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system and the heart.
