Course objectives

The course is designed to focus attention on issues multidisciplinary relating to major diseases infectious and related diseases of the reproductive system with particular reference to the knowledge of the preventive aspects, diagnostic and clinical of these diseases is essential to medical specialists in order to set the correct diagnostic and therapeutic procedure.

Program - Frequency - Exams

Course program
The program of the infectious disease teaching module should cover almost all the main infectious and tropical diseases. Considering time limitations, the lessons will not cover all topics of the program. The lessons provided during the course will cover the following arguments: meningitis and encephalitis, endocarditis, viral heaptitis, HIV infection, respiratory infections (including pneumonia and COVID-19), tuberculosis, gastro-intestinal infections (including salmonellosis and clostridioides), exanthematous diseases of childhood, monkeypox. herpes viruses infections, urinary infections, fungal infections, malaria, leishmaniasis, arbovirosis (Dengue, Chikungunya, West Nile), osteomielitis and peri-prothesic infections, brucellosis, rabies, tetanus and botulism, nosocomial infections

Knowledge of biology, semiotics and microbiology
