Project management and evaluation of social services

The course program is divided into two parts. In the first (16 hours) the concepts of governance and participation and the development of inclusive forms of policy making in sustainable development policies will be analyzed. The second part of the course (32 hours) will include meetings with experts, field visits, non-participant observation sessions in the work of the Sustainable Development Strategy Forum, case analysis, construction of grids and survey instruments for empirical research.

Knowledge of the theories and analytical approaches of political sociology, sociology of administration, and the sociology of public action is a useful pre-requisite.

Those who have attended 80 percent of the lectures will be allowed to take the laboratory-type test.

Learning will be assessed through individual and group tests.

Lectures in the first part, group work, guided discussions and expert presentations in the second part.
