Lectures will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, h. 8-10 am, in room 6 of the Law Faculty.
Students attending the course in person will be informed of the relevant materials during class. For those not attending classes, the adopted textbook is J.W. Van de Gronden and C.S. Rusu, "Competition Law in the EU: Principles, Substance, Enforcement" (Edward Elgar, 2024, 2nd edition), pp. 2-33, 54-89, 105-173, 191-246, 269-327, 470-488, 496-531.

Marco Fisicaro è ricercatore a tempo determinato in tenure track in Diritto dell'Unione europea presso la facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell'Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza', dove insegna Diritto del mercato interno dell'Unione europea e European Competition Law.
In precedenza, è stato assegnista di ricerca presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma Unitelma Sapienza (2021-2023). Ha conseguito la laurea magistrale (2018) e il dottorato di ricerca (2022) in Giurisprudenza presso l'Università degli Studi di Catania, nonché il diploma magistrale della Scuola Superiore di Catania, istituita presso lo stesso Ateneo (2021). Ha svolto soggiorni di ricerca in università e centri di ricerca internazionali, tra i quali l'Università di Vienna (2020) e il Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (2021), ed è stato stagiare presso la Corte europea dei diritti umani (2016). È responsabile della redazione di 'European Papers - A Journal on Law and Integration' e membro della redazione di 'Diritti umani e diritto internazionale'.
Ha vinto il Common Market Law Review Prize for Young Academics (2024) e il Premio Giuseppe Sperduti (2015).

Marco Fisicaro is Assistant Professor in European Union Law at the Law Faculty of Sapienza University of Rome, where he teaches EU internal market law and EU competition law.
Previously, he was post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Rome Unitelma Sapienza (2021-2023). He holds a Master Degree (2018) and a Ph.D. (2022) in Law from the University of Catania, as well as the post-graduate Diploma in Social Sciences from the "Scuola Superiore" established within the same University (2021). He spent research stays, among others, at the University of Vienna (2020) and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (2021), and was stagiare at the European Court of Human Rights (2016). He is managing editor of "European Papers - A Journal on Law and Integration" and member of the editorial staff of "Diritti umani e diritto internazionale".
He was awarded the Common Market Law Review Prize for Young Academics (2024) and the 'Giuseppe Sperduti' Prize (2015).
