Salvatore Celozzi received his Laurea (cum laude) and Ph. D. from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, where he became Full Professor in 2005. Dr. Celozzi has published more than 200 papers in international journals or conference proceedings, mainly in the fields of electromagnetic shielding and transmission lines. He served (1995-2000) and is serving (2016-2026) as Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility for papers on electromagnetic shielding. He authored a book on Electromagnetic Shielding for IEEE and Wiley & Sons in 2008 (second edition in 2022).
Prof. Celozzi has been the Chair of the EMC Chapter of the IEEE Central and South Italy Section from 1997 to 2006. In 2002, he received the IEEE EMC Society Award “Certificate of Technical Achievement” and received the best Symposium paper awards in 1998 and 2011 at the annual IEEE EMC Conferences. He has been member of several International Committees. His current research interests include electromagnetic shielding, transient electromagnetics, and transmission lines.
