Course objectives

The final exam consists of the preparation of a paper on problems in the nursing field based on literature searches and of the dissertation of the same paper in front of a special committee.

The program relates to the entire Study Course detailed in the individual Courses included in the Study Plan.
Prerequisites
To be admitted to the final exam, the student must have passed all the exams included in the study plan, including the internship ones.

Texts used and described in the various teachings scheduled in the Course of Study.

Exam mode
The final exam is chaired by the Commission appointed by the competent Academic Authority, which consists of two phases and includes: a test demonstrating practical skills with application value, with the value of a State Exam qualifying the profession, organized according to criteria established by the Council of Degree Course and in compliance with current provisions and is aimed at evaluating the achievement of the skills required by the professional profile; a dissertation of a thesis prepared by the student whose content must be relevant to topics strictly related to the professional profile. The judging commissions for the final test express their marks out of one hundred and ten and can unanimously grant the candidate the maximum mark with honours. The final exam is organized in two sessions in periods agreed on a national basis (October-November and March-April). The final exam cannot be repeated more than once in the same session; it can be taken again in the next session. The Commission for the final exam is made up of no less than 7 and no more than 11 members, appointed by the Magnificent Rector and includes at least 2 members designated by the most representative Professional Associations identified according to current legislation. Therefore, the Commission is composed of 5 teachers + 2 representatives of the Order (minimum 7) + 2 ministerial representatives who do not fall within the established range as external supervisors (total 9) + 1 secretary taking minutes. At least two alternates are normally identified. For the purposes of attributing the final grade, the reference table for the Health Professions Courses shown below is adopted. Lesson mode
The student will carry out both the practical test qualifying the Profession and the presentation of his/her Degree Thesis in the presence of the Commission composed of no less than 7 and no more than 11 members, appointed by the Magnificent Rector and which includes at least 2 members designated by the Professional Association identified according to current legislation.
