Course program
Formulate a physiotherapy diagnosis based on the evaluation of data collected according to the ICF classification model. Describe, based on the data processing, the physiotherapy diagnosis in the patient's file/record. Use the ICF model as a reference. Formulate a physiotherapy prognosis based on the physiotherapy diagnosis. Determine and describe the expected optimal functional outcomes and the expected timeframe to achieve them. Recognize limitations that could impact the achievement of the expected outcome within the given timeframe, such as: age, medications, socioeconomic status, comorbidities, cognitive status, social resources, nutritional status, and environmental context. Define the relevant therapeutic objectives and intervention priorities. Define and write realistic goals that consider all patient variables, through expected short-, medium-, and long-term changes (both through intrinsic recovery and the use of compensation or alternative strategies). Formulate goals according to SMART principles (Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic, Time-bound). Identify the duration and frequency of interventions in the rehabilitation project planning, including cost-effectiveness. Select and prioritize essential interventions that are risk-free and match the specific functional objectives and outcomes of the treatment plan. Identify precautions and contraindications. Ensure patient-centered interventions. Define the specifics of the intervention (time, intensity, duration, and frequency). Select realistic priorities that consider treatment time in collaboration with family, caregivers, and other professionals. Develop intervention strategies based on assessment data, the best available evidence, and patient choices/preferences.

Verify, in collaboration with the rest of the team, the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation project. Evaluate responses to the rehabilitation intervention (in relation to the objectives), in collaboration with other professionals, recording changes during and at the end of the intervention. * Verify the effectiveness of the physiotherapy intervention. Evaluate responses to the physiotherapy intervention by recording changes during and at the end of the intervention. Verify and measure the outcomes of the physiotherapy intervention using validated methodologies and tools. Report the evaluation data and intervention results in the patient's report/file.
