Course objectives

At the end of the course students must have a comprehensive knowledge about ergonomics and working position, organization of operational procedures, computerized management of clinical plan. Further student should be able to effect careful analysis of main themes of health economics and management. At the end of the course students should be able to prepare a periodontal clinical chart.

Prerequisites
To understand learning subjects and to reach comprehension goals, at the beginning of lessons activity of didactic module students have to know: - basic notions about professional oral hygiene and periodontology; - materials, instrumentation and technological devices necessary for Dental Hygienist profession. Required prerequisites: all the exams of the first and second year
Books
For the examination of the exam, we suggest a theoretical deepening already from the beginning of the course attendance. For the purpose of consultation and in-depth examination, the teacher will provide handouts.
Teaching mode
The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as published on the website of the Dental Hygiene School.
Frequency
Following paragraph 5 of the Regulations of the Dental Hygiene School, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, vocational. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature / updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCLID. The certificate of mandatory attendance to the teaching course is required to the student to be admitted at the final test.
Exam mode
To pass the exam student must reach the vote of 18/30 in each module. Student must have an adequate comprehensive knowledge about ergonomics and professional organization. To reach the vote of 30/30 cum laude, student have to show an excellent comprehensive knowledge of all the matters treated during the course, connecting them in a logic and consequent way. The exam consists of an intermediate written test preparatory to the final oral exam.
