Teaching mode
The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods, blended methods or remote methods, depending on the existing provisions, with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Aule/Orari system, published on the website of the Degree Course
Frequency
Compulsory attendance
Exam mode
The exam consists of an oral exam that deals with one or more topics of the individual modules in detail. The knowledge related to each module contributes together with the overall assessment. To pass the exam the student must obtain a grade of not less than 18/30 in each module. The student should demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics of clinical biochemistry and a basic knowledge of the topics of management of the diagnostic laboratory, and he should be able to indicate the main diagnostic applications of each method.
To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to link them in a logical and consistent way, treating the laboratory techniques with focus on their quality and efficiency , and placing their use in relation to the required diagnostic investigations.
The frequency of lessons is also taken into consideration for the evaluation.
Exams are held at the end of the course.
Bibliography
Additional teaching material presented during the lessons will be provided to the students either in electronic format or as paper material. It will also be recommended useful material for any further study.
