Pharmacokinetics: absorption and its interferences, bioavailability, distribution and elimination (metabolism and excretion), half-life plasma protein binding, blood- brain barrier, decay curves (zeroand firstorder Kinetics), therapeutic index.
Pharmacodynamics: receptors( definition, locationcharacteristics, up and down regolation), drug-receptor interation (affinity and intrinsic activity), dose-response curves, agonist and antagonist.
