nternal Medicine Program 1. General: physical exam, anamnesis, objective examination, clinical methodology 2. Cardiovascular: cardiological evaluation, cardiological history, risk factors, blood pressure, arterial pulses, auscultation of the heart, general concepts of the electrocardiogram; signs and symptoms of the main cardiac pathologies: heart failure, myocardial ischemia, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias 3. Thoracic, respiratory pathophysiology, symptoms and signs of the main respiratory system pathologies, acid-base balance and general concepts of blood gas analysis. General concepts on the main respiratory system pathologies: COPD, ASTHMA, pneumonia, pleural effusion 4. Abdominal: signs and symptoms of the main gastrointestinal system diseases 5. Urinary system: physical exam and infections 6. Anemias 7. Fever

Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of organs and apparatuses
