Course objectives

At the end of the 1st year the student must: - Be able to formulate an observation of the child's emerging skills in the motor-praxis, communicative-linguistic, cognitive and affective-relational areas using validated protocols. - Recognize how early experiences influence the child's development and be able to identify those functional to the promotion of maximum autonomy and socialization in order to develop a balanced personality. - Having acknowledged the inseparability of the different performance areas of the child and the complex interaction of the underlying functions. - Have acquired mastery of relational and behavioral skills and techniques to activate verbal and non-verbal communication with the child.
